| WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? We are located in Hollywood, and use several unique, outdoor, natural lighting locations. WHAT IS A LOOK? A look is essentially a change in wardrobe. But it is also a change in attitude. Think of a look as a specific type of role that you can play. To be marketable and versatile, an actor must have more than one look in his/her portfolio. If you have only one look, then you prevent yourself from being considered for roles that fall outside of that range. Each specific look requires a different wardrobe. The theatrical look is dramatic while the commercial look is colorful and bright. Consider different hairstyles, play with your age range, do your research and mimic current trends. DO I NEED TO MEET WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER BEFORE MY SHOOT? A one-on-one consultation is not necessary, but is certainly welcomed. You should feel comfortable while shooting with your photographer to allow your personality to show through. Meeting prior to your shoot may help alleviate any concerns, anxiety, fear or doubt. DO I NEED SOMEONE TO DO MY HAIR AND MAKE-UP? We highly recommend using a professional hair and make-up artist. That goes for both men and women. Having a skilled hair and make-up artist on hand will ensure that you look your absolute best. It will also save you time and money in the retouching phase. If you cannot supply your own hair/make-up artist, we can provide one at an affordable rate. For more information, see pricing. HOW SOON DO I SEE MY PHOTOS? Your pictures will be uploaded usually within one or two business days. You will be able to view all the digital images we shot and share them via email with your agent, manager, and friends. WHAT IF I NEED PRINTED COPIES? We strongly recommend using Argentum Photo Lab on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, 323-461-2775. www.argentum.com. Obviously this is LA and you have many choices for photo reproductions, but Argentum is the best lab you will find. They print exceptional quality photographs (not inferior lithographs) and they will be able to provide you with all your reproduction needs from start to finish. As a Conrad Allan client you automatically receive a 20% discount. WHAT IF I NEED RETOUCHING? Contact the retouchers at Argentum. Remember anything can be fixed with Photoshop. DO YOU DO RE-SHOOTS? The great thing about digital photography is the immediate accessibility. We will be able to view your images instantly and delete the ones you don’t like right there and then. If there is something you don’t like, or you feel we aren’t capturing what it is you are going for, you can tell me, and we can fix it right away. Re-shoots are done for technical reasons only. |
